Soup, maths

Owen pretends not to like maths and aces it.

Sam insists on gazpacho soup for breakfast *bork*

He doesn't eat it all...'but it's nice'...yeah right.

Sam works in some maths, it's a new lesson and he meltsdown because he expects to be able to do it via osmosis. Any suggestion about actually 'learning' how to do it met with howls. So I leave there.

Later when Sam's calmed down...it took a while...they go out to play with their friends at the park.

The next day Sam is up at 3 am AGAIN! He's gone into a mad sleep cycle again. I wait till its light, then we go walking to sooth the fuzzy brain.

It's a truly beautiful sunrise in the mist,

Thankfully, at the end of our long walk, Sam's medication is working and he is much calmer.

We spend time with Owen watching this...it was really good and they watched two back to back.

Sam made soup..veg. This is the first time he has dared to hold the sharp knife.

We use our new instant cooker, which is something Sam has been dying to try out.

Owen does some word searching.

Sam plays with his word soup game ( it's all about the soup this week!)

Then there was much playing outside and in with friends.

We went on a Mythbusters marathon, as there was a new series.

Sam word searching today.

But he's still not sleeping and this parent is exhausted, so I speak to his consultant and we formulate a plan. She's flipping amazing.

We watch more history with Dad later.

I manage a run in my own as *gasps* Sam is still asleep *thank you!*

More maths lessons are completed, without a meltdown *phew*

There is also much reading, researching and playing with friends too.
